On 24 April 2026, Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, met with Mr. Yin Jian, Director General of the Chengdu Opening-up and International Cooperation Center (COICC), and his team.

Mr. Yin introduced the Center's operations and services. During the meeting, both sides reviewed current level of cooperation and discussed future collaboration, including participation in upcoming B2B Investment Conferences and the potential co-hosting of related events in Chengdu.尹主?介绍了开放成都的运作机制与服务内容。双方回顾了现有合作成果，并探讨未来合作方向，包括邀请企业参与2026年举办的一系列投资峰会、在蓉共同举办产业对接活动等事宜。

The Consul General welcomed COICC's proactive engagement and its contributions to facilitating Sichuan enterprises' participation in past and upcoming B2B conferences. He reaffirmed the Consulate's support, within its capacity, to further strengthen cooperation. He also highlighted the upcoming ICT and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Investment Conference, scheduled to be held in Hangzhou on 24 May 2026, and encouraged the Center to mobilize its affiliated enterprises to participate in future B2B events in both China and Pakistan.
