The Conference is organized by the CCPIT Sichuan Council and supported by SARCC CCI  and ACC, it serves as a multidimensional platform established by Sichuan Province to deepen trade, investment, and economic cooperation with countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

On June 16, Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, attended the 2026 Diplomatic Missions Experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Facilitation of Medical Services for Foreigners in Sichuan, co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province and the Sichuan Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

On 9 June 2026, Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, met with Director Zhou Mingzhu, Executive Director Zhao Ning, and Secretary‑General Xia Dawei from the newly established China‑Pakistan International Economic, Trade and Cultural Reception Hall in Chengdu. A China‑Pakistan cooperation and exchange symposium was convened, during which both sides held substantive and cordial discussions covering economic and trade cooperation, talent cultivation, cultural exchanges, and industrial cooperation. 

On June 8, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Chengdu and the Pakistan Study Centre of Sichuan University co-hosted a China-Pakistan friendly badminton tournament at the Wangjiang Campus of Sichuan University to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Bhatti held in-depth discussions with Mr.Jahanzeb Dal, head of business development from the Engro Energy and other representatives on topics including batteries, renewable energy, and industrial equipment, focusing on industrial transformation, and technological cooperation.

The B2B Conference in Lahore witnessed extensive engagement throughout the day and yielded signing of more than 50 MoUs. Chinese delegates will now undertake factory visits to gain firsthand insight into Pakistan’s manufacturing capabilities and industrial potential.
