The Consulate General of Pakistan in Chengdu held a dignified yet simple Flag Hoisting Ceremony, on the occasion of National Day, at the Consulate, on 23rd March with invited Chinese and Pakistani dignitaries in attendance.

Consulate General of Pakistan, Chengdu observed a solemn Kashmir Solidarity Day event to commemorate the sacrifices of people of Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.The event was attended by Pakistani diaspora, academics and students living in different areas of Sichuan province. Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, highlighted the Kashmir movement, its historical perspective and Pakistan’s moral, political and diplomatic support for the cause.Members of community also expressed their feelings of love and camaraderie for Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

Mr. Tanvir Ahmad Bhatti Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, attended the "Chengdu Spring Festival Gathering with Foreign Consulates,"on 4th February 2026.This event was organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chengdu Municipal People's Government. On 4 February 2026, Mr. Tanveer, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, attended the "Chengdu Spring Festival Friendship Association."The event was hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chengdu People's Government.

Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, attended the tour ceremony of the imported goods pavilion on February 4. During his visit, he highlighted the significance of Pakistan's participation."The Pakistani exhibitors at the spring festival fair represent the quality, diversity, and cultural richness of Pakistan's products," he stated. "Their participation is a strong reflection of our commitment to enhancing trade and people-to-people ties with China, especially in Sichuan Province."

The Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, Mr. Tanvir Ahmed Bhatti, held a productive meeting with the Chairman of Chengdu Yihe Technology Co., Ltd  to explore avenues of bilateral cooperation in the technology and innovation sectors. The Chairman of Chengdu Yihe Technology Co., Ltd provided an overview of the company’s expertise, ongoing projects, and its commitment to expanding its international footprint. Consul General Tanvir Ahmed Bhatti highlighted Pakistan’s growing technology ecosystem, investor-friendly policies, and the government’s focus on facilitating foreign investment, particularly under the framework of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration between Pakistani and Chinese enterprises to drive innovation, create employment opportunities, and promote sustainable development. The discussion also covered prospects for technology transfer, joint ventures, and collaboration with Pakistani IT firms and academic institutions. Both sides expressed keen interest in organizing follow-up engagements, including business-to-business meetings and potential delegation visits to Pakistan. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a shared commitment to enhancing cooperation and translating discussions into tangible outcomes that would benefit both countries.
