On June 16, Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, attended the 2026 Diplomatic Missions Experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Facilitation of Medical Services for Foreigners in Sichuan, co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province and the Sichuan Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

During the event, the Consul General visited exhibitions of traditional Chinese medicine, experienced classic therapies including pulse diagnosis, moxibustion and tuina massage, and took part in fun activities such as Baduanjin exercise and Dragon Boat Festival sachet making.

This event has deepened the Consulate General's understanding of traditional Chinese medicine culture and created favorable conditions for Pakistan and Sichuan to expand cooperation in the field of traditional medicine.
