On 3rd September, Consul General Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti held a meeting, with a delegation led by Mr. Wang Jian, Executive Vice President of Sichuan Provincial Council for Promotion of International Cooperation and Investment.

The two sides discussed on key areas of cooperation such as new energy, mining, e-commerce, agriculture and the training of talent. Also exchanged views on the potential for cooperation and implementation pathways under CPEC phase II.

The Consul-General briefed the delegation about industrial cooperation policy priorities, market demands, and extended a sincere invitation to the Chinese side to participate in subsequent B2B conferences and other events.

Mr. Wang expressed his readiness to work closely with the Consulate General to advance industrial alignment between the two countries and jointly organize diverse exchange activities to deepen bilateral trade ties and cultural exchanges.
