Consul General, Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti  met with a delegation led by Mr. Gu Shenwei, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Deyang Municipal People's Government. Both sides held in-depth exchanges on deepening practical cooperation between Sichuan and Pakistan and enhancing friendly exchanges between the two countries. Also came under discussion mapping out industrial and investment cooperation.

 During the meeting, Director-General Gu briefly introduced Deyang, a key industrial city in southwest China renowned as the "China Equipment Science and Technology City". Boasting a solid industrial foundation, Deyang enjoys strong competitiveness in high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, biotechnology and other sectors. It is steadily advancing high-quality development and fostering new quality productive forces.

 顾申伟主?介绍，德阳是中国西南重要工业城市，被誉为 “中国装备科技城”。当地工业基础雄厚，高端装备制造、新能源、生物科技等产业优势突出，正加快推动高质量发展，培育壮大新质生产力。

Subsequently, Mr. Zhang Qiang, Vice President of Sichuan Deboer Biotechnology Co., Ltd., presented an overview of the company’s development and noted that the company wants to explore bilateral cooperation opportunities with Pakistan.

 To conclude the meeting, both sides reached extensive consensus on future cooperation. Taking the 75th anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic ties and 20th anniversary of Sichuan and Punjab sister province relationship as an opportunity, they agreed to enhance communication and connection, with a focus on culture, vocational education cooperation and exhibition exchanges.
