The Consul General Attended the Thematic Academic Seminar on Building a China-Pakistan Community with a Shared Future at Sichuan University
On June 6, Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, attended the opening ceremony of the academic seminar “China-Pakistan Community with a Shared Future: Retrospect and Prospect” hosted by the Pakistan Research Center of Sichuan University. Staged to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. The event brought together over 40 domestic experts and scholars, and His Excellency Luo Zhaohui, former Director-General of the China International Development Cooperation Agency and former Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, was also in attendance.
Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti delivered the opening remarks at the Symposium underscoring the 75‑year all‑weather partnership between Pakistan and China. He highlighted the transformative impact of CPEC on bilateral and regional development, outlined emerging regional opportunities and commended the center’s continued role in advancing academic exchanges between the two countries.
The Consulate will further academic cooperation with Sichuan’s universities and consolidate bilateral friendship via people-to-people interactions.
