Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, met with Mr. Xia Dawei, Secretary-General of Sichuan Foreign Economic Promotion Association, Ms. Zhou Mingzhu, Chairman of Deep Blue Venture Capital, and their delegation on 31st March, 2026.

The meeting focused on the proposed China–Pakistan International Economic, Trade and Cultural Hall project. Discussions focused on detailed planning of the project, promotional strategies, and areas requiring support. The Consul General warmly welcomed the initiative and noted that the project addresses an important need in advancing China–Pakistan relations. He highly commended its potential to promote bilateral economic and trade, as well as cultural exchanges. He reaffirmed the Consulate’s support, within its capacity, for its development.

Both sides agreed to maintain close communication and continue promoting practical, result-oriented cooperation.
