On June 23, 2026, Mr. Talha Bin Khalid, Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Chengdu, met with a delegation led by Secretary Zhang Zhonghui, and Deputy Secretary-General Wang Guohua from Sichuan Pharmaceutical Industry Association.

The meeting focused on bilateral pharmaceutical cooperation. The Deputy Consul General commended Sichuan’s pharmaceutical industry progress and highlighted its strong relevance to the upcoming Pakistan–China Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Bio-technology Investment Conference in Karachi this July, and extended a warm welcome to companies for registration.

The Consulate General will continue to act as a bridge, comprehensively advance cross-regional exchanges and facilitate mutually beneficial cooperation for both parties.
