On 9 June 2026, Mr. Tanvir A. Bhatti, Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, met with Director Zhou Mingzhu, Executive Director Zhao Ning, and Secretary‑General Xia Dawei from the newly established China‑Pakistan International Economic, Trade and Cultural Reception Hall in Chengdu. A China‑Pakistan cooperation and exchange symposium was convened, during which both sides held substantive and cordial discussions covering economic and trade cooperation, talent cultivation, cultural exchanges, and industrial cooperation. 

The Consulate General will continue to serve as a bridge for cooperation, actively advancing cross‑regional exchanges and mutual learning. The consulate will remain committed to facilitating mutually beneficial cooperation and promoting win‑win outcomes for both sides.
